I never played it because I'm not into FF12. The only thing that I'm interested in is the gambit system and non 4 niggas in a row combat.
Does this game push the system to it's limits or is it just there to compensate for lack of control over all party members?
I watched some boss fights and it's literally just waiting for the leader's atb to fill up to choose an action with the rest being auto attack simulator.
Is this really worth playing for the combat?

I mean FF games in general, they're too easy and I could care less about the story

At the time it felt like a step back from the depth of FFXI.

When people were likening it to MMO combat I had high hopes for it because FFXI had a lot of depth, but XII didn't have anything like skillchains/magic bursts and all the stuff you had to consider in XI.

Its a shame we can't get that level of depth in a single player game.

gameplay is good, story/characters are terrible. if you like min/maxing and figuring out fights like a puzzle you might enjoy it.
