>>713644393Tempest Rising is fine, it floats entirely on nostalgia though, there isn't really a single thing it calls its own. most notable thing to me is that the devs did a pretty good job with the menus and cutscenes having the 90s CnC1 aesthetic while still using a modern engine. it just feels like I paid $40 for a weird alt-dimension version of CnC3 rather than a new game, with the typical outcome of me playing it for like 4-5 hours at most before never touching it again.
