Havent played any "live" MP shit since what, Planetside 2?
I got this the other day to play with my Dad, slow download out here so I tried the offline Dodi version for practice fill I finish the steam dl.

Honestly it looks, sounds and feels pretty good. I only gave EA $8 now since ME3 released so Im not too worried. I like that there appear to be a plethora of game mods and customization options, not sure how well Dad will fare in certain pvp modes for a while.
Zoomers and other browns are taking things over so fast that they are outpacing my aging so Im thinking he will be ok witha few weeks of practice.
Feels like Movie Battles 2 version of Battlefront, like its a mod of the actual poo version EA would release.

it really just makes me wish they focused on adding more weapons to use or having more classes that weren't just "reinforcements." Maybe you could upgrade your heavy trooper to the enforcer, or recon guy to the infiltrator, sort of like how your soldier got upgrades in the 2005 game. The downside being that you no longer have a custom loadout to play with.

I think a system like that with reduced health pools would be better than having the match ups in the current game which devolve to "i picked the reinforcement class/hero and so now you'll insta die 9/10"

The game may not be perfect, but I think it's cool that people decided to rediscover an older multiplayer game rather than just buying something new for $70. I hope the trend continues with even older titles, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Disney will do its own thing like with Kenobi, but Andor specifically is far more interested in couching itself between ROTS and Rogue One/A New Hope. It covers the distance between the democracy dying with thunderous applause line and the formation of a real rebel movement against the empire.
