yeah i played this when it was a mod but I did buy the actual game, back in like 2012 or something. it fucking sucks. also cheating is insanely easy. you just camp in a spot where really good loot drops and go to empty servers and load up on the best stuff in the game in like 30 minutes. IDK if they still let you go between servers but if they do that's such a massive oversight lol.

i played it for the first time today since 2014 and I guess they added stuf like character customization, animals, and car mechanic stuff, but otherwise it seems like the same pointless experience.

I got into dayz a few years ago and I've ended up quite enjoying it. Once you know how to craft the fishing rod and know where the wells are at your food and water needs are pretty much non-existent. Exploring the world and the wilderness is kinda actually kinda peaceful until you run into someone that is. But it does get old after a while I play it for a couple of days on and off about every couple of months or so.

>run after him and slice him a few times
>he tries to run away, but any time he slows down i cut him a bit more until he eventually bleeds to death
>literally the only food i've found this entire time is the fruit i spawned with, the fruit the first guy spawned with, and the fruit this last guy spawned with

7/10 life. melee is really retarded because of the locked animations making it pointless to do anything other than run into the other guy and try to his face
