That said, he should have kept his mouth shut. Yes, he was livid about Guinevere's affair, but he should have consulted with his king first to decide how to deal with it. But he couldn't handle the possibility that Saber would let it go. He couldn't accept that she'd forgive them, because he knew she would. So he had to publicly bring it out in the open, to force punishment on them, to demand Guinevere's execution as punishment for her treachery.
Everyone fucked up. Lancelot, Guinevee, yes. But even Agravain made a bad call. He should have spoken to Saber in private and deferred to her judgment on the matter.
