I'd rather see games with low PC level caps where you simply can't out-grind the fights and have to leverage the rest of your kit to have a chance at winning, but this is simply too much for normie jarpiggie slop slurpers to handle in the modern age. Yet they wonder why JRPGs are so fucking boring these days when they select dogshit games that don't even try to challenge them.
There are still plenty of legitimately challenging JRPGs coming out though. You just don't see them reviewed favorably or discussed because they tend to lack in presentation or other things that normalgroids need in order for their choice of game to be valid in the eyes of others.
