Ideally just make all its original shit WORK, let it be native x84, no hardcoded RAM cap, with a more robust version of the physics engine underneath the hood MAYBE.

The remakes people dream of aren't as low effort as the under-the-hood of oblivion was, but they don't have to be anywhere as high effort (but shit taste) as the graphics were.
