Steam Deck is the best UMPC for playing old shit, becuase you have the built-in Steam Controller 2.0 which allows you to map inputs to the trackpads, making keyboard heavy games playable without the keyboard. Literally no other UMPC on the market can pull this off.

You have access to the world's biggest backlog for free, and yet here you are, trying to run Expedition 33 on a 1050ti. Don't you have a PC?

I seriously don't understand how other manufacturers don't get what makes the deck good while making their deck clones
None of them have the godly trackpads, sad

Because all they're designed by a committee of people who only play normie games, while managed by people who don't play video games. They just chase checklists and numbers before calling it a day.

But it can. A simple mod can drastically lower E33's requirements.
My girlfriend played it on low on a shit laptop with integrated graphics and it still ran stably.

Maybe there's a patent on the trackpads?
I truly have no idea, When I tried to play some old point & click adventures, or other games that necessitated mouse control, I decided I could no longer live without it.

They have no choice but going handheld. Anyone can break in and steal your stationary stuff. You have to take anything of value with you.

Me. Nightreign looks and runs great. People treat the deck by pc standards, but it's a handheld. If you want max graphics at max performance, just stream to it.

Valve showed them the way and they still don't fully get it. Very sad.

Fair. Doesn't it hurt to look at PC games on a tiny screen though? Even the Deck is pushing it.

I play basically everything on my Deck. The convenience can't be beat.
