I've tried it a few times and give up
It just seems like a much worse overlal mixture of Nioh and Wo Long
Like the jobs all seem to be 'press light attack and then press heavy attack for your eender', like there's very little variety in say :1+square, l1+triangle, ri+circlo kinda deal, like outside of a job having the special ability and the same light attack time X then heavy, it's just the same combat

hatchets are literally the only weapon in the game that can get you into close range from a further distance than any other weapon, it can also constantly do damage at range without, for the most part, being in danger
Like if the boss decides to sperg the fuck out and jump halfway across the arena, you can usually get a hatchet throw off to hit it. Evne a kusa is shit for it because of how slow the attack is but with a hatchet throw in high stance you just dodge the moment you want to dodge
