Soul? Gameplay is slow and floaty as shit, no thighs mechanics to make actual good, satisfying levels.
Astro is more liked because it choose to ripoff sunshine and galaxy, otherwise it would be another bland game

It's basically an entirely different game as far as the campaign is concerned.
Pretty sure the customization was way more limited too, though it did have some features better than the original LBP like being able to just toggle whether you want objects to float or not.

The fact that they're completely different games, for starters. It's not even like ModNation Racers where the PSP version was an approximation of the PS3 version. LBP on PSP had an entirely unique campaign with different level themes and different licensed music than to the PS3 game. Levels also only had 2 layers compared to the PS3 LBP's 3 layers. Ultimately it wasn't as good as any of the other LittleBigPlanet games, but if you're a fan of LBP it's worth checking out as a novelty.
