I just completely finished off Fate/stay night about an hour ago actually. All three routes, every scene, all 40 bad ends. What an excellent time that was. I can see why people went totally nuts over it back in the 00s and onward. Saber is so fucking cute too.

so many moege fail because they're too feelgood. they only have women be part of the main cast and it leaves the dynamics to be all retarded. and they don't even include women who vehemently dislike you, they just include amicable, friendly women, who wouldn't dare be against the player. you need other characters to balance the dynamics, like having a bro (who isn't a trap character or otherwise too dissimilar to a normal guy) and a reoccurring character who fucking hates you (not necessarily an antagonist.)
I have solved the problem as to why so many moege are shit, and now I need more with dynamics as I have described, otherwise they're not palatable

Slay the princess isn't very good so anything you play will be a huge improvement. Katawa shoujo is pretty overrated and most VNs that are english original are just mediocre. Just play translated japanese shit because their bigger market yields better quality stuff you can pickj out of the sea of shit. I second tsukihime but play the original not the remake.

Are Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 worth playing? I've already watched the anime.

So far it's probably my second favorite Science Adventure VN after S;G. I do think it's a shame that they turned down the fanservice so much after C;H.
