the bosses in Nightreign are more reasonably designed because of the 40 minute runback and equipment/event RNG
they're not like base ER bosses where you're expected to die 15, 20, 40 times learning each move's timings and cues because retries are completely free

I beat the super-maw on the first try because i had a great team and we played excellently, and I failed the super horse on the first try because i had a decent team, but we made some mistakes during day 2.
If you beat him first try, you had a great team and played well.

I have a curse, anon. I also beat this and gigadel first try with randoms. Every single time after that i got paired with the worse mouthbreating retards in existence. They were so bad i resorted to playing solo

I was more mad at dying due to my controller fucking up than anything else. I looked around and apparently Switch Pro controllers are known to disconnect from bluetooth connections if there's another bluetooth device in range that causes interference, which for me is this temporary bluetooth keyboard I'm using until my new one finally arrives. So hopefully if I disconnect my keyboard my controller won't mess up anymore.

I'd usually rather save the ult for a boss than blow it for an item pickup, but they give smithing stones without having to detour to a mine. If there's other ways to open them it'd be useful.

He’s easier than Gigadel but all the ranged guys on my teams still get fucked by phase 2 and also phase 3.
