It's a six-ten hour game that expects you to replay it over and over with unlocks. It's an X-com like game where stealth is the main focus with opportunities for action and it's handled well enough. Give it a shot sometime if that sounds interesting at all.

at the expense of sounding like a shill, ive been eyeing this game called G string which looks sick as hell and reminds me alot of hl2 but the only reason why i havent picked it up (even if its on sell right now) is that there is supposed to be a "ultimate" edition coming out soonish glory to the CCP

Almost a combination of super crate box with doom inspiration. You will be replacing weapons frequently and slurping up money drops from dead enemies like in cave story of nuclear throne. Feels snappy to play.

Solid mystery dungeon series mixed with monster collection and BOOBIES. Not porn, and actually kind of difficult. The dev has a respectable balance of autism in that regard.

Shootem up where you get random equipment as you go, and they all have limited ammo. Sounds like a combination that shouldn't work but its surprisingly competent.

It's THE BEST wizard game. Why is that?
It reminds card games, but you don't need to shuffle deck at all, all your cards-cubes are here to place, and game field is not as abstract, it's simulated. So imagine most insane card games synergies you have dealt with, and multiply it by ten. And every encounter you'll probably have to change strategy, because dev doesn't nerf broken shit, he just throws even more broken curses at you. And typical run is a constant batlle of broken against broken.

I tell you, it is THE best ruguelike of deck-building kind.

- G string: despite its name, nothing sexual. This is a cyberpunk fps. Sets in a dystopic city (off course) you're a lab rat trying to survive. Fortunately, you posses both an advanced suit & pyromancy and telekinesy to help you fend off the various threats you'll encounter.

- Northern Journey: Explore a mythical fjord in this atmospheric fps. Great ost too.

- Tesla vs Lovecraft: Just pull the trigger against endless waves of eldritch abominations. Fun mindless shooter.

- Infra: If you enjoy watching urbex( or doing it) you have to play infra. It is the perfect urbex simulator.

I have an metriodvania with proper time travel implementation, it's called Vision Soft Reset.
It's not a timelopp, it's like you have to make branching timeline to complete it.

Lawless Lands is a post apocalyptic RPG set in a world ravaged by diseases, bandits, power hungry nobles, and supernatural creatures born as a result of the dying earth and the newly spread epidemic. Furthermore, in this land, the King has fallen ill to a supernatural epidemic, and as a result, his kingdom has fractured into a lawless land with no order or centralized power to keep anyone in check.
Thousands are dying every week from the diseases which no one knows how to keep in check. Which is why your main character, a foreigner, has arrived. Lulled by the promise of glory, riches, or simple naive heroism, your character wants to find a cure for the lands and bring order back to it.
As you traverse the lands you'll have to manage hunger, fatigue, and even your body's health, for if you aren't careful, you too can fall victim to the plague and die.
Combat is basically a ps1 era JRPG, specifically the four niggas in a row styled games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, so, you recruit party members and you fight enemies in a turn based manner.

It's pretty decent. You can customize your character before you start, and there's also a system for leveling up and choosing which skills and spells you want to specialize in. I myself am only about 3 hours in, but I like what I see so far
