A lot of people didn't bought the game because the last 1% was PvP. Its dumb but its true but now thats sorta fix with best of both. The pvp portion of DD still has better loot in density and some unique schematic. High risk high reward with an entry point to tip your toe in it

If you like Dune + survival + base building you will like this game. Also Conan was not a live service, it became one over time. DA is straight up a live service that should live and expand on the coming years via 1 time buy expansion. Nobody is forcing you to do a anything.
As of now the game is worth the price since there's easily 100 hours of content on 1.0 release and the dev have surprisingly shown to be quick on the community pulse
