Both Asgore and the show got divorced/cancelled
The Tenna replaced the old black and white TV but ended up with Asgore where he probably watches the old reruns on the few channels it can pick up. The Tv/show has probably seen Asgore talk to his flowers, about his family and what really happened in the past. I think it will be a great chance for him to be the outlet of showing Asgores good side.
