Its bad in the way that you will be saying "how is this real" and wonder if its self aware.
Just some quick examples, the main character insults and gaslights their friends, constantly, and at the end of the game the secret to her power was that she has empathy more than everyone, that was why they were so strong, empathy. So the absoloute psychopath writers think that everything the protagonist is doing was good, be it manipulating people, using their powers to get people to kill eachother and even forcing their friends to stop talking by choking them because "this conversation is boring", it is so outlandish that it circles from being ridiculously woke, to being a fucking parody of what a chud would write woke to be. Its that bad.
>use ability "trigger", which basically just calls the person a racist or doo doo head that noone likes, this is so effective some people break down and run away. with the character saying "the truth hurts"
>gaslight your friends to get them to do what you want, then get them to apologize for inconveniencing you
>make claims about how the governments and fascism is tearing apart families and community, while actively destroying communities you pass through and arent a part of by stealing and turning people against eachother, anyone that dislikes you doing this is a fascist
>strangely, the protagonist hates robots, vehemently, like, racist tier hate of the Why? "robots are all logic, my powers of emotion dont work on them"
Its bordering on self aware, if you are actually paying attention to the writing and characters it is like someone is making a joke about the things they are doing. The fact that it all revolves around empathy makes me seriously wonder if the definition of empathy is lost in translation, like they learned the wrong word and what it means or something.
It begrudge telling anyone to pay money into the pocket of the people that made this shit, but it is actually entertaining to laugh at and shout at.
