My idea, Put every major living cast member from 1,2 and 6 in it, Give it like 4 story's staring Chris and Jill, Leon and Clare, Jake and Sherry and Dante, Vergil and Nero with a final story that has all the playable characters working together, esc Sonic Adventure 2/ 06. Make the setting a skyscraper designed by George Trevor, which plays like the Spencer Manson dialed up to 11 and make it a grand finale for the og cast and story before a soft reboot

So, The Mansion style tower would force classic style RE gameplay, at least in the first half and I would rather the aging classic cast get a definitive, be it an over the top ending for them rather than slowly getting vaulted. Besides the series can easily go back to classic re horror with the next one, no harm done.

That's every single survivor of resident evil at this point. Leon, Chris, Jill, Ada, Claire, Carlos, Ethan, Hunk, Sheryl and so on. Rebecca could probably be the only protagonist that could fit in a truck survival horror setting wince she's just a combat medic.

They showed nothing new from what we haven't already seen 2 weeks ago. According to Geoff the scale of the game and ambition is way bigger than every other Resident Evil game. The fact they even brought Leon's name up is a little sus. Waiting for a bigger reveal in October or at the game award show later in the year. Grace can't carry this game to better sales than 7 or 8 by herself.

I HOPE they are baiting and it's not another walking sim like fucking re7. Good for one playthrough and thats it.

Never suggested the game should be co-op, However I did have two character per campaign and mention re6, so I understand the confusion. I was thinking more You would play as one character and then you would switch to another during multiple points during the campaign, Sort of how RE 3 and 4 did it, but more 50/50 rather than a brief Carlos section.

If we follow the 7 and Village trends, yeah, we're probably having Leon for a section, or maybe even swapping between a few mainstays depending on how deep they go for the anniversary thing. Grace is the Ethan protag as the focal point, and anyone else like Leon are an aspect to the larger story.

I think most likely Grace will be the protagonist of one campaign that's heavy in the classic survival horror style and a classic character, probably Leon, Chris, or Jill, will have the B-campaign and it'll be more action-focused in nature. They'll probably make that the formula for RE games moving forward so that both gameplay styles are featured.
