Play CoV first obviously. Level scaling is gone. The new route does not let you pick your own ending anymore and your ending is based on your alignment. Your endings are law and chaos only though, so keep that in mind when making your choices.

Creation first gives you a lot more context and also makes the Vengeance route changes much more surprising. The problem is Creation fucking sucks and parts of the game will still feel the same even on the new route. I did Creation first then Vengeance right after and got burned out, it was not worth playing 60-70% of the same game twice just to get the fully story.

Demon Expansion is completely unbalanced as the new demons' skills and resistances are all ripped straight from Dx2, which thinks powercreep is something that should be pumped hourly. They're fun to mess around with, but taking Heroine with you and spamming her AoE Elec with Pierce that can also inflict ailments gets a bit boring if that's all you're doing. Not every added demon is completely cracked. Some, even with unique skills, aren't completely overtuned so they fit in very well with vanilla demons.
