The cool thing about Coke & Fries Halo is the design, it looks like Halo. This was to promote their upcoming game Halo 3. To do this they made Coke & Fries Halo. This was back in 2007 when people consumed a lot of coke and fries, and liked to play Halo, so I decided to combine them giving us Coke & Fries Halo. They did this in 2007 by putting Master Chief, um, and Halo related things on their design for both their Coca-Cola cup and their fry container, so you could go, too Burger King and say “I’d like a Coke & Fries Halo” and they, then you’d get this what you are seeing on screen is Coke & Fries Halo.

>>713772831People joke but it was basically Gamergate and Trayvon. Trayvon signaled a massive change in U.S. politics (the end of le colorblind society) and the advancement of explicitly anti-white policies became the norm. Gay marriage being legalized also really energized the socially progressive sphere and its only recently that its seen the slightest setbacks (although nowhere near a complete reversal). Gamergate was the big moment people realized that games (and games media) was thoroughly leftist (read : anti-white) and, despite brief retardation from the #NotYourShield fags, sewed the seeds for the eventual Trump phenomenon. Games media became incredibly hostile to the core demographic of game purchasers and people grew defensive and hostile in response. They sensed that their hobby was being taken away by people who hated them so it was completely justified. We now live in the eternal Gamergate, it never ended. Everything is a culture war and nothing is unpoliticized. The magic is gone because people have been at (cultural) war with each other for ten years.
There's also the very real economic concerns that go into games. Games are hideously expensive to make now and companies who want to turn a profit rely on microtransactions and/or accept loans from the Blackrocks of the world (which leads into the culture war aspect because ESG funding means more leftism gets pushed into games). Game budgets skyrocketing also means games become more homogenized from clueless executives chasing profit which leads to the "magic" being lost from games. COVID had a part to play in this too since companies got fuck tons of zero interest loans and three years of people having tons of free time to play games and did fuck all with it. Now they rely on homogenized MP games and remakes to turn a profit instead of making le sovlfvl new games.

>>713772074Teens don't do that anymore. Well, most of them don't. I'm in my mid 40s with several kids and I live in a typical suburban neighborhood where there are a ton of kids and teenagers. Most of them are on their phones all the time and don't really go out and hang out all the time. I mean, yeah they sort of do social stuff but it's very minor. I graduated high school in the 90s and I was never home and that was typical for everyone who went to my school. I hardly see any energy from teenagers anymore. I want to see it and see some sort of rebellion or something but there's not much there, just internet and phone shit in the social media panopticon. Pisses me off so much because I sometimes feel like I have more passion for life than the teenagers in my neighborhood and it shouldn't be that way

>>713773365I truly think not fantasising about fighting in a war like this and at least performing adequately if you're a male is a sign you're a psycopath.
It doesn't matter if you'd actually do terribly. It doesn't matter if you'd actually go fullmetal jacket in boot camp. If you don't fantasize about it you're a reptilian in our midst, aping us, an impostor species within the species. This is a fundamental sign of inner goodness, of a fundamental desire to transcend the self and touch the kingdom of heaven by prefiguring it.

>>713772831>Whats the tangible, real reason(s) the magic in everything just feels gone now?Every aspect of life is controlled and micromanaged by technology with government and corporations working together to set the future to whatever they want it to be no matter how stupid or contradictory to reality. There is no luck or randomness where an average Joe might surprise anyone or something could change anything, everything is set and predetermined so people are effectively living in a simulated world.
Corporations do not have to pretend to give a shit about customers because both them and the customers know there aren't any other options and there is no real chance of an alternative being created since the companies lobby for regulations to eliminate competitors before they get off the ground. You either accept shit or go with nothing.
Everyone is monitored 24/7 and will have their life destroyed by corps and mobs if they have the wrong opinion on something once so it's safest to just lie constantly about everything and interact with others on a personal level as little as possible.
Winners and losers are selected from birth and the system is designed to streamline people to either success or failure so that the people in power face no risk of being replaced. Even if you grind your way to a million dollars against all odds it doesn't matter because you're still effectively middle class and the world is managed by eternal billionaires. So no real reason to work hard beyond basic necessities. It's very similar to what happened in the soviet union, it is the inevitable result of micromanaging people's lives.
AI will be the next big paradigm shift that will change everything so who knows what direction things will go after that.
