I own a 4090 and I thought it was amazing, best looking game of 2025 by far. It's Oblivion so naturally it's a great game, mod scene is decent too. It's a great game, but poorfags and third-worlders will seethe at it.

No one cares about Bethesda anymore. People have grown wise to their bullshit. Their games are shallow, the combat in their games is not any more complex than Minecraft combat. People have played much better high fantasy RPG-style games, and going back to a Bethesda game feels like going back twenty years.

I played it. I just wasn't as good as Skyrim. The oblivion gates are tedious and not fun after you do it once. There's nothing in the dungeons, The voice acting sucks and the guild questlines aren't that interesting.

The one redeeming thing was the Shivering Isles DLC which was better than anything in Skyrim

First character i made in the remaster was a control summon wizars who used staves for damage. Did kvatch at level 24 and was loling at the amount of daedroth in the courtyard fight. Character came onlune well before I had 100 in various schools so i couldn't make OP spells without grinding, so i took a little break.

But i came back and made a second character, full unarmed monk wearing no armor, healing people and selling resto potions t each town i travel to. It's a really fun playthrough so far. I havent gone into shivering isles yet, but can't wait because i dont think ive done that since '09

Modding seems pretty dead, the most interesting thing I've seen so far is a usable boat. The rest is mostly new weapon/armor models and yet another "I made a face, here's a save with that face". Is UE5 the problem, or are people just uninterested?
