Is this game bad? Been playing Raidou and am looking for more period piece games, preferably comfy adventure ones instead of ones that are heavy on combat.

I've not played much game from the series (4, half of 5, Judgment and Lost Judgment), I think they're generally alright but LJ was superb. If pic related is somewhere along those lines then I think that's good enough for me.

It's a bad remake but is it a good game at least? Never played the original outside of the demo 10 years ago so I wouldn't have a point of reference to compare to.

Grinding for the platinum is insanely tedious, the brawler combat is dogshit and most of the side content boils down to repetitive fetch quests.
The story is alright but they made some weird changes to the original cast.

I would just suggest trying it on game pass instead of spending money on it even if it's on sale.

Got about 30 hours into it and just couldn't do it. I love the Yakuza series but this game sucks. Plus the farming sidequest thing wasn't that interesting.

Of course you say this on the Yakuza Reddit and you get downvoted
