>>713774215 There is no depth of any kind to any combat in Bethesda games. Bethesda doesn't do combat. It's literally sword in hand, walk up to the face of an enemy, spam the attack button until enemy dies. So quality of sound can make such dull combat good.

Starfield is a victim of Fallout's success. Bethesda loves to build off previous games and the game to build off of here was fucking Fallout 4, an action FPS with barely any RPG. If Starfield didn't sit on the burner for 20 years before they decided to actually start cooking we could have had a space game built off the momentum of Daggerfall or Morrowind and then it would have its own DNA and sequels instead of borrowing half of its gameplay directly from nu-Fallout.
