Starfield is dead and dead. Is Bethesda dead, too? If The Elder Scrolls 6 is a failure, is that the end of the line for Bethesda?

Sound effects make or break combat regardless how good or bad it is.

There is no depth of any kind to any combat in Bethesda games. Bethesda doesn't do combat. It's literally sword in hand, walk up to the face of an enemy, spam the attack button until enemy dies. So quality of sound can make such dull combat good.

>Starfield is dead
Shouldve made a good game then.
It wouldve done better if it was $30 instead of $130 and if it didnt have performance issues.

Starfield is a victim of Fallout's success. Bethesda loves to build off previous games and the game to build off of here was fucking Fallout 4, an action FPS with barely any RPG. If Starfield didn't sit on the burner for 20 years before they decided to actually start cooking we could have had a space game built off the momentum of Daggerfall or Morrowind and then it would have its own DNA and sequels instead of borrowing half of its gameplay directly from nu-Fallout.

Yeah. Boot up your favorite game and turn the audio off completely. It becomes an entirely different experience
