Besides any sneaking and utility usage, the brawling consists of two skills:
1. how much you can hit the enemy
2. how little of yourself you reveal to the enemy
Most players already intuitively know that it's a battle for 1. but for most it takes a while to realize that it's also a battle for 2. at the same time and you will play a lot better once you start focusing on both together.

Every time I played a game where people cried about cheaters it was fucking nothing compared to CS where a guy can casually toggle with 2000 hours in a game and/or thousands of dollar inventory and he does not even care because these cheats are undetected for a decade. how fucking hard could it possibly be to reduce the stupid trigger pull and give the revolver more ammo to make it at least somewhat useable? The MP9 has been broken for years and Valve doesn't fix its price, CZ75 doesn't give any reward money and has like the revolver absolutely no ammo. The sawed off shotgun is a fun weapon that is ruined by the absolutely ridiculous firing range, it's already random as shit with heavy damage falloff, why can't the projectiles travel further? The M249 costs way too much, but they never want to fix that for whatever reason. The Negev was once the best MG with a crazy fun recoil pattern that allowed you to wipe out entire teams with skill and was a fun way to spend money, now it's a joke weapon that is used for area denial. I will never not be mad.
