This. Costco had tons of stock launch day, along with just about every other retailer. Just shop around different stores and buy in person instead of waiting online. Your best bet OP is to use this site called Popfindr where you can see in realtime the amount of Nintendo Switch 2 stock each store has based on your location. Gamestop is definitely the most viable option to persistently look at because they'll hold the most Switch 2 stock out of any major retailer due to them being the biggest gaming outlet, not many people go to GameStop in general so that's less competition right there and those stores can be located in secluded areas as well too. I'm gonna try to see if I can snag a Switch 2 from them tomorrow which will be my first actual attempt at getting the system.

Walmart just restocked online like a day or two ago and you missed it. You should actually be paying attention to stores if you're trying to get one since they usually announce restocks. I got mine like a week ago because I saw Gamestop tweet that they restocked so I immediately went and bought one. You could also just walk into a Target or something and see if they have any sitting around, sometimes stores will have stock even if it says they're sold out online.
