Now that chuds realized they can't pinpoint this game's failure on wokeness, no one cares about it anymore. If anything, they actually want this failure to get memoryholed. Sorry, anon. Try making a Concord or Dustborn thread instead.
>we managed to get one million after we counted every platform, bundled deal, delivery to shops, gamepass, review copies, gifts to friends and families and some heavy rounding
>we sweat game is not a total crapshoot
Just don't ask what they consider a player because none of these studios ever explains what metric they use to describe a player. It makes it easy to obfuscate sales numbers without technically lying to shareholders. also, that's pretty low when you consider it's on gamepass and Playstation+.
There's nothing more telling than the players metric, you'd think they would have figured out it's a black mark that signals a game did poorly but they keep doing it, why is that?
>>713778129it's because it's a legitimate metric for subscription based platforms and the only ones kvetching about it are retards who have 0 impact in the industry
gamepass AND ps+ and still cant find a party. it has this sickening gameplay loop like the outlast trials that just makes you wonder why you're playing it at all
>>713778563And yet the game is being sold on other storefronts, which lets us know the actual engagement is terrible. Nightreign had no problem reporting sales numbers because it was actually selling to people who wanted to play it. I'd understand if the game was exclusive to subscription based platforms because then you would at least have players who were engaged enough to put money and time into it among the numbers. 'Players' might as well be 'demo downloads' for how much those numbers relate to the actual value of the game. The fact is that subscription based games are seen and consumed as a lesser value product, people who play on the platforms largely pick it up for an hour or two, drop it and forget about it. It all feels like a prop to keep an dying industry from exposing itself as dying, piracy does less to devalue a game than game pass does.
>>713778563>it's because it's a legitimate metric for subscription based platformsNo it isn't. "Players" means absofuckinglutely nothing. It's a desperate attempt to try to convince shareholders and retards like (you )that the game was a success.
>>713777781you couldn't tell by 'players' and not sales?
antiwhites will ALWAYS lie.
>>713777781Not just Game Pass. It's on PS Plus as well. So it should in theory be a lot higher than just one million.
Now show me how many of those just opened and closed the game for 15 mins lmao
>>713776293 (OP)Is "one million players!" the new gaming industry PR line? If the game is on Gamepass or the like, then that number really doesn't say anything about the game's success in profit
