What are some good courses/guides/tutorials for 3d modeling to get started making game assets?
>try to acquire a new skill in the third decade of 21st century
>use the internet
>text tutorials have been completely replaced by youtube videos made by people farming ad money
>finally be able to find good ressources
>learn for months and years
>suddenly your skill is wasted because AI takes over
>>713784250As much as I miss text tutorials for shit in general (sometimes with the odd image), video format for learning is vastly preferred for any 3d modeling software, due to how fucking expanse their UIs have become.

His voice is annoying but the course is really good if you want to make low poly
>>713784250Certain adblockers still work on Youtube. I've been warned hundreds of times.
>>713784062 (OP)Find a good course on udemy then grab it for free from cgpersia.
At least when it comes to 3d modeling, the hardest shit is finding guides/videos by people who actually do shit professionally so you can learn actual best practices, and not an intermediate hobbyist teaching a hobbyist.
