Yeah the IVs of everything are about the worst you could ask for, high as fuck physical with balls special and speed (+ speed lowering nature). It's still a full odds shiny thoughever, good enough for me, only place I'd use this that would be challenging is the Frontier so who cares?

they're very common in the newer games, but even when I was a kid and spent most of my free time playing these games I only saw a Tentacool in Ruby and a Rattata in B2, any other shiny I had was traded, an event or cheated

Damn takes me back to the first time I finally got my shiny charmander, the rush was insane. I became addicted to hunting shinies after that but nothing came close to that moment again.

Yeah sure, absolutely, but I'm there for the journey or something like that, had my mate in chat and we're both shiny hunting and the joy you hear from each other when you finally get your target is great, lot more memorable then validating checksums in PKHeX or whatever

The point is that there is an alternative where you just get what you want from the slots do that doesn't really apply. If it's just for the thrill of gambling by wasting your time then you can probably think of a lot of other more interesting forms of it. Anyway I don't think I'll ever get it, shinnies you rarely see in a playthrough will always seem more exciting to me.

Funny part is it was after my repel had worn off and I was 2 tiles from Pacifidlog, decided 'nah I'll be fine'
Pretty sure it's the same route that I found my first back on like 20 years ago. Weird how it works, I like to think of it as the Tentacool returning to me
