I loved it, it wasnt that bad. Sneaking into enemy camps and tranquilizing guards and sending them to your base to build it up is super kino.

story wise quite but kojima was already really fucking tired of making mgs after 3 and 4 so who cares

just act like mgs ended with 2 and play 5 for the gameplay

Seemed pretty complete to me after listening to all the tapes. I think the unfinished aspect just comes from gossip about the dev process.

Story is abysmal and obviously misses ton of content. Gameplay wise the game feels complete though.

no content would save it. No amount of cutscenes and exposition would be able to salvage crap thats already there. In fact it would benefit with less story. For example if the game ended after the prologue it would be a fine story

Your forgetting they included the battle gear development cutscene because it was one that was actually finished despite the fact the battle gear itself was cut content. There are also hidden audio files in the game related to the battle gear and act as a tutorial on how you'd use it as a player.

Like the game is a complete cluster fuck but kojima dick riders glaze over anything wrong with it

Never was. Phantom Pain is the way it is on purpose. Just like DS2 is bad on purpose. Kojima literally admitted to doing it.

It was always supposed to feel unfinished so that the player would experience the Phantom Painโ„ข and be more immersed.
