I dunno if I'm just being picky or something but so many "epic anime hype scenes!" now are the opposite and they get overdone. They keep moving the camera around and cutting to expressions and then the whole thing spins around while they dash and a billion sparkles and cubes appear out of nowhere, and I kind of just want something in the middle. I like it when characters move, and I like it when I can see them.

soundtrack and voice acting played a huge part in it. especially hokuto no ken.

there's been many "remasters" of Ai wo Torimodose and they've all come off as soulless. every single one of them. add on the fact that they hyper focus on that single song instead of redoing the entire OST is telling that they only care about perception, not the qualtiy of the end product
