But I remember steam (still) making a documentary for internationals and hosting multiple applications like wallpaper engine, rpg maker but also stuff like drawing software.
I also remember Discord trying to build a gaming abo before gamepass, which wasn't even a terrible idea because at the time Steam opened the floodgates to all shitty games while discord had a curated catalog of plenty decent indie games.
