Nevermind the haters. I liked it enough to finish it thrice with different builds.
Really liked the multiclassing and the ability to swap between any you had unlocked whenever.
It does drag on a bit at times. You just need a little mental fortitude to say "I'm not doing all these side quests right now."

Two Worlds is unironically one of my favorite RPG's. Its got soul, more soul then anything that has released in the last five years. They put effort into that game, and the magic system is actually great.

Greedfall does have an action bar, well sort of. It uses an UI obviously designed for consoles and controllers, and is hidden unless you pause the game which enters "tactical mode" if you can call it that. Not a bad game overall though

playing on windows 7, locked at 60 fps, and it feels like it is running at 60, but havent checked.
Only conplaint is that the movement animations seem to be capped at 30 fps, They are choppy but still respond fine though I've found that it makes the bow and horse control poorly.
The bow is 'fixed' by setting to auto aim because it removes the zoom which was handled poorly.
The horse isn't too bad but it handles worse than the horses in M&B, plus it picks up speed quickly and is faster than the map design allows for. Something new every few seconds.

Two Worlds tried to copy TESIV: Oblivion but it's nothing like that series. It's more a like a pc equivalent of Dragon's Dogma but with less beat em up type gameplay but the same spirit.
The studio would probably find more success by copying that type of game instead and this time be superior because that old Two Worlds game had lots of things to explore and a world that was interesting despite the extreme levels of jank.
It's funny how earnest every character is with their awkward line deliveries, none of that Divinity OS reddit quirky dogshit.

Is the vanilla NWN Campaign really as boring as people say? I just wanted a decent single player third person rpg while maybe cycling out 1 or 2 companions every so often in between solo adventures.

The most degenerate thing is an attack by an early slime boss where she shoots projectiles at you from her chest, but other than what you can put together in the character creator, nothing else is particularly egregious or in your face. But the dev is a bit of a sperg and hasn't updated the game substantially in 8 months so if you get it expect an unfinished game and long waits between content updates

Probably not an RPG at all, and no action bar, but imo it still fits the thread. More like action tactics. The story is Polish Indiana Jones, maybe some Svejk as well, WWII, nazis looking for some secret magical weapon in the middle of Tibet.

Fair, but there's obscure trash and there's "someone should be arrested for distributing this" trash. Blood Knights is in the latter category. Even shovelware has more soul than that jank-fest.

Age of Decadence is a pretty solid one the younger side of things, same for Colony Ship as well. I know Colony Ship doesn't have an action bar but unless I'm mistaken AoD does.

This is a nice little indie game, it's not a diablo clicker despite the top down view
