Undertale is harder so far, but Deltarune is longer.

Delrarune is longer and harder.
It doesn't mean it's better though. It's kind of like Everhood 1 vs 2 kind of thing. By making the "sequel" much larger and grandiose, it kind of loses the grip on what made the original so good.

Deltarune isn't harder than Undertale. Sans and Undying are still harder than the Knight.

Arguable. I liked the themes of Undertale more. A kingdom of magical monsters, building society and over the top machinery underground, scientists messing around with life force, time and reality, crating godless abominations, etc. All hidden, waiting for you to discover in this relatively small world that has many layers hidden, waiting for you to discover if you dare to leave this typical RPG quest path.
On the other hand you have fantasy teen drama about a made up imaginary world which is much much larger but at the same time it feels like 90% of characters are throw away and nothing is really related to anything.

Maybe it's because I beat sans dozens of times at this point, but it really felt like Knight was harder than Sans.

Deltarune isn't even done yet and I like it more than Undertale already
The only thing that kind of bothers me is that with the chapter by chapter release order some parts are being neglected
Castle town for example, the minigames are nice and all but, only a single new battle in the Dojo? No new fusions? Shop still sells the same crap from Chapter 1?
The music gang make stuff from scraps yet they have done fuck all since they were introduced into our castle town.
Things like that I think are going to take away from the full release eventually unless Toby goes back and adds some content throughout

Deltarune is longer. Even accounting for Genocide run, UT is just shorter. DT is just half-way done too.
>Which one is harder
They are both intentionally easy games in their normal routes, but I think UT is harder overall. The titan were the first non-secret boss fight I died to -- and then again, I didn't have the armor and weapon that dealt more dmg to it.
Genocide boss fights were harder than secret bosses, but there is only 2 of those, and we're gonna have 7 secret bosses. So there is that to take into consideration.

Sans is a longer and more punishing fight.
