His wife came back from the dead and divorced him offscreen and that somehow gave her all his secret bases and stuff and she sold them all and she called him gay and then I think he just dies. They tried to make a new mexican punisher that no one gives a fuck about so he'll come back at some point and his wife will turn out to be a skrull or some shit.
