I got 200% in DKTF but this is way harder. I've had times where I just died like 9 times in a row on one stage.

I'm not stuck per se, but I'm still on world 3 despite game overing here like six times already. The game just isn't very fun. It feels more frustrating bullshit than a satisfying challenge.

Mario 3 has a real shit difficulty curve. World 3 is one of the hardest and 4 and 5 are much easier before getting challenging again with 6 and 7 because shoving a mini airship up ur ass at light speed in world 8

What even is World 3? The water world? Is the big fish eating you? Just fly over that shit.

TF is a hard game, and since you played it on Hard Mode to get the 200% I know you have some chops. World 3 has some curveballs, your movement is really sluggish in the water which can fuck you royally in certain stages.

Have you tried skipping to World 4 with the warp whistle? You're not shaving off too much content that way and you can always go back if you decide you want to give it another try

In your case I wonder if it wouldn't be better to go back from World 1 and try again. I can see it being more frustrating if you're starting right at the wall each time before you get into the groove. If you're properly warmed up you'll be more prepared for the difficult moments
