Why is Heroes of Might and Magic® 3 so popular on GOG.com? I am just wondering what to buy on the summer sale and, damn, it's so popular.

Sometimes I get asked if I am Russian. On days that I am asked this question, I play HoMM3 so I can feel Russian. I also drink vodka and beat my wife to complete the illusion.

It’s fucking good. It’s easy to hop into a game that could last days on your own. You can hotseat it, so you and a friend can have a co-op game with two separate castles on one comp. The game is incredibly accessible and fun.

I like the game but HOMM4 campaigns are more fun.
