Why didn't this game get more recognition? Early iron age/bronze age fantasy is such an interesting and underutilized setting, and the lore is genuinely some of the best and most original in CRPG history.

I liked the economy in the game. stayed scarce and meaningful through to the very end.

On launch the game was a bit of a buggy mess with story flags not triggering properly which is like half the draw of the game
Also the prologue probably filtered a lot of people. There were tons of choices in it that had actual meaningful impact on the rest of the game but when you lack the necessary context to even really understand what you're picking between and then face the consequences of your decisions it creates a very weird dissonance
Finally the one beastman companion fucking sucked ass. The rest of the companions were actually good though

I loved the setting story, magic system and companion combo attacks but the production values weren't very high and it felt unfinished. Would love a sequel but the world isn't flashy or pretty enough for modern audiences so sadly it probably wouldn't do well unless they add 50 different types of elves to character creation and cheesy romances.

gave it a fresh try a couple months ago and the writing is just as bad as PoE. Obshitian really turned to trash after Stick of Truth.
