i still cannot fathom how it makes sense for the world to get even more advanced post-apocalypse. it's wakanda-tier magic and i can't relate to the setting, and seeing fucking ladder-elevators in DS2 makes it all the more worse.
consider that sam isn't the only porter and all porters would be able to build all manner of roads and structures...the rate at which Sam alone can build the world up is nonsensical because at that rate, with 20 fucking porters the BT's will have to leave inhabited areas because of the price of rent.
