Not really the same comparison, Switch and Switch 2 plays Nintendo games. If you only want to play those, you can't go wrong with a Switch OLED. Best console on the market for the price IMHO

If you buy a laptop from the same generation as the Deck then the Laptop is way, way better. The Laptop just beats all of these handheld options hands-down on price/performance.

But then you have a Laptop, and not something specifically made to play games with things like the built-in controller. I got my Laptop for basically free and it's next-gen so I don't worry about a Deck.

I read the Deck 2 isn't coming out for at least a couple years. Knowing Valve I don't doubt it. I have a top 10% gaming PC already. I just want to play stuff like Doom and indie games and 15 year old games. The Deck OLED screen is praised by every reviewer, I'd rather have that than raw specs.
