>>713861535This. For me it completely ruined Stellar Blade because it forces u to normal mode on 1st playthrough. The way they give u dopamine hits (story beats, epic scenes, grand moments etc) without having u put in any effort from killing the enemies or bosses destroys the game because it plays exactly like some cinematic movieslop. The game was a fucking joke anyway, there are 94 bonfires total in some of the smallest levels I have ever seen, so u can imagine how it goes - kill 3 enemies and u find a new bonfire, despite the character having access to 8 estus flasks and abilities that no monster can counter.
The only guys who were right about locking Hard to game completion were the FF7 Remake devs because that game is very punishing and requires learning enemies and knowing their weaknesses.
