>>713914371That's a fair point, but I think it depends heavily on the player. I would argue that some player are simply not going to address the problem at hand (i.e. by switching to engie in your example) because they can't be bothered about the "team" aspect of the game. I also think that having less restrictive weapons for classes open up different playstyles and degrees of viability on different maps (e.g. more open ended maps for DMRs on medics, etc).
Just look at TF2 pubs, the same problematic applies.
