Does being in Smash really change the image of a franchise/character to the public? Bomberman used to be lovef, but now he's seen as a failed/loser franchise because he got BTFO.

R1 sold millions since it came out before smash, but R2 flopped since Smashfags only wants games with playable characters

Captain Falcon, Ice Climbers, Ness, Lucas, Mr. Game & Watch and the entirety of Fire Emblem.
No one gave a shit about any of these until Smash.

Didn't you hear the recent news? Leon can never be a protagonist because isn't a scared cat that would jump at a falling bucket. Weird to go this route when the previous games started out as you playing cops or special forces investigation the outbreak.
