Absolutely. Twin Snakes was the first big sign of Kojima leaning full tilt into anime cutscene-over-substance territory. The backflipping Snakes, slo-mo Matrix gunplay, and overproduced nonsense was him finally letting his inner film director loose. People blame MGSV or Death Stranding, but Twin Snakes was the prototype for modern Kojimbo: more flash, less soul.
