Funny, it's on the same dying trajectory as Multiversus' relaunch was.

Melee players went back to Melee

half of rivals appeal was custom characters

$30 for not Smash. I will say from what I played during the demo/beta phase that it was the most Smash-like Not Smash game so credit for that. Otherwise I don't really give a fuck about the Rivals world like the developers think I should

The game is just fundamentally frustrating to pick up
Every fighting game is and this will eventually happen to them whenever people run out of noobs to fight

Because I could spend 60 to play as Mario, Mega Man or Snake, OR spend 30 to play as furry ERP losers. Seriously what the fuck is this, THIS is supposed to convince me to pick up the game?
