Remixes, sure, but there's nothing wrong with HD textures if it isn't just a sloppy AI upscale and successfully manages to capture the soul of the original. Nothing wrong with higher FPS and widescreen/modern resolution patches or whatever either. If you're not playing on original hardware and/or with a CRT then you shouldn't care about "muh authentic experience" at all.

Maybe I've gotten jaded but "remastered" soundtracks for rereleases seem to always be inferior to the originals.
