2fort sniper only server was for some reason the only server I could play on my shitty laptop with an intel atom and 1 gb of ram. Good times, I'll never forget pre-MYM tf2. The peak was when they added hydro and other gimmick maps to quickplay.

Oh boy time for another 5 hour match where even looking at the Intel gets a votekick called on you. Can't leave your base without your head getting cut clean off by a Sniper, Soldiers and Demos keep spawncamping you, falling in the water is death guaranteed because of the Engineer nests in both sewer rooms, and trying to play Scout makes you want to kill yourself since there's no room to move. How fun.

Nah it's not what I'm looking for in TF2.
I think the only memey game mode I've ever played is degroot keep. Even the football one with grappling hooks or the saxton hale mod I've never tried

One of my fondest FPS memories was a 24/7 2fort server. I was a scout, he was a demoman. Can I make it any more obvious? Anyway I was dominating him and I don't even know why he thought I was hacking but he was entirely convinced I was aimbotting as a scout on 2fort. I told him I could dominate him with my eyes tied behind my head and the very next time I saw him I was running across the bridge rooftop as a Scout, got clipped by a rocket and was knocked off, and hit that whiny fucker with a crit meatshot on the way down to the water as he was crossing the bridge. He screamed and shat his pants, calling me a hacker because how else might I have meatshat him in that tiny gap? Fuck it was so good. To this day I wonder how fat he has become.

Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.

What are some 2fort-esque maps in other games? The most obvious one I can think of is Nuketown but there’s surely plenty more.
