You've never played a D&D campaign, haven't you? If you had, you'd know that:
1- High-level PCs are completely broken, so broken that no video game can be made with high-level PCs.
2- Therefore, the idea is that the heroes need to be the underdogs, fighting battles beyond their power and coming out victorious. That's storytelling 101.

The problem with me is that it's too quick to throw in all of those things and progress extremely fast. Like we instantly see devils, then druids with halflings from hell, then hordes of orcs (which is fine). But then all of sudden gloomy dark undead shite, and in third act aaaall at once, and not to say in between all mindflayer shit all around and in dreams. It's abundance of all everywhere and too fast.

I refused to buy Dying Light 2 because of that even though I was a big supporter of the first game, bought multiple copies across console and PC, and recommended it a lot to my friends.
But after they kicked Chris for allegations was what soured me completely on the game, not even a suspension but simply cut him off. That is big billy bullshit so I was pretty nonplussed when I saw Dying Light 2 was hammered when it launched.
