I'm really happy that Japanese Action Violence, or JAV for short, is finally catching on. It is the best name for the genre. It sounds like something that would be used for a Japanese Action movie, such as picrel. It just works.

Miike's films are cool. I particularly like Audition out of his works because it features Eihi Shiina, who was also in Tokyo Gore Police and other Yoshihiro Nishimura movies, which are also (mostly) great.
