which combat system do you prefer?
>>713915879 (OP)Left but the difficulty of right.
>>713915879 (OP)Lock-on combat will always be inferior
Nightreign, no contest. Fromsoft has perfected the feel of combat in a lot of ways, whereas MH has always had a notably weird and unpleasant vibe to its controls that players need to get over to get into it.
not anything made by crapcum lol
After playing Elden Ring, I'm no longer interested in future Souls games, they've cranked the obnoxious boss fights up to maximum and it's simply not fun to watch the bosses slide around like anime faglords swinging their weapons like mad as if they're Dante from DMC while you sit there blocking or rolling and slowly chipping away at their health. Shit's boring.
>>713915879 (OP)I like both but bounced hard from MHW because the progression feels like playing an MMO (gay) by yourself.
>>713915879 (OP)Night reign is WAY better in a lot of things, BUT, a lot of times I just want to fight the last boss, no 1hr of randomized prep time.
>>713915879 (OP)Wilds has great combat but it's not a great fit for the game because you don't even need to know half your weapons moves and mechanics to beat everything
Nightreign has pretty simple combat but it's well suited to the games fast pace, better suited than it was for Elden Ring I'd say
>>713916474Wow it took you until Elden Ring?
You didn't notice the exact shame shit in DS3?
>>713916474>delayed swing>delayed swing>unreactable release of the delayed swing>one shots and death combos>blinding light showsSomebody needs to stop Miyazaki.
>>713916474Elden Ring is a text book case of a dev falling for their own hype.
