i loved playing the campaigns on hard difficulty where in some of them it became a slow war of attrition where you move forward slowly while castling up every few meters

loved cossacks 3 for the same reason

yeah, i usually only replay those campaigns that had an ally ( so you could trade with them and never run out of gold )

cossacks has unlimited resources, just remembered i used to do the same in rise of nations as well
