NOITA CO-OP
LOBBY CODE: e0ge18ed557w

>What is this?
Noita, but with online co-op.

>Where do I get the game?

>Mod github:

>How does it work?
1. Install Noita (Steam, GOG, or cracked version. You need Steam running to join online even if you didn't buy the game from there. Launch Steam and THEN the mod)
>IF you are running a cracked version or GOG, make sure to check "Allow using steam networking even..." box in the upper left corner under "Local settings." You need to RESTART THE MOD for this change to take effect
2. Install the mod and launch it.
3. Set your name and colors (if you like)
4. Open lobby list (upper right corner under "Connect using steam" yes, even if its pirated)
5. Copy the lobby code: e0ge18ed557w and click "Connect to lobby in clipboard." If this one doesn't work, look for one in the thread.
6. Select "Start Noita" in the mod client itself, and make sure to start a new game.
7. If you still can't join, close the mod client completely, start Noita normally, go into your mods, and make sure the mod is enabled.
8. Do not continue a previous run, or do the daily run, or click anything else. Just join from the mod, and launch as 'New Game.'
9. DISABLE ALL OTHER MODS.
10. If you are hosting, you don't need to wait for a full lobby to start, or any players even. Anyone can join the game as long as they have the lobby ID. Jump into the game, and wait for others to join.

Some questions in general as Noita is on sale:
1) Can a toaster run this?
2) What's it like, what kind of games can you say it's similar to?
3) How long is a run?
4) Is there much meta progression?
Anonymous No.713940669 [Report] >>713941181
>>713939782
>1) Can a toaster run this?
Generally yes, but it can eventually bring any system to its knees if you get too crazy with CPU-intensive spells. If you aren't going from "frames per second" to "seconds per frame", you aren't Noitaing hard enough.
>2) What's it like, what kind of games can you say it's similar to?
You ever heard of Powder Toy? It's that, but an actual game. Specifically the "Finnish Autism Simulator" kind.
>3) How long is a run?
Usually about an hour or two unless you die to something stupid early on. God runs that delve into the deepest trvest post-post-postgame content can go on for literal weeks.
>4) Is there much meta progression?
There's some. Most of the progression is your own knowledge but there are spells that are permanently unlocked for completing specific lategame sidequests, and some minor cosmetics you can earn getting the most difficult endings.

Thanks lad. I don't know what the term is, roguelite or roguelike, but I'm looking for a new experience for this kind of thing and Noita looks unique. I like games like Spelunky and Slay the Spire.

It is very unique, and honestly fun af. Be warned though that the treshold to get into it can be rather steep: I played ~30 hours and uninstalled three times during 6-7 months before I even started enjoying the game but that was probably on me though. What made a colossal difference was understanding what perks to choose, always survival-maxing in every givet set of 3 perks.
The gameplay is basically the Dark Souls of Terraria. Get the Spell Lab mod to get a start on learning the spell/wand mechanics, if it still works.

Thanks a lot again lad. I want to go in as blind as possible so I'm gonna leave now, but I'll keep spell lab in mind, I'll go raw for as long as I can and then that will be the first mod I check.

>1)
My computer is from 2011, I haven't a single problem running this.
>2)
Platforming exploration/treasure-seeking ones, but Noita is probably the only open-world one.
>3)
~2 minutes to 60 hours
4)
A little: You can unlock spells and permanent changes to the world generation (small features/rooms) but the spells are rather easy to get hold of. The main thing is learning to handle the wand crafting and the world layout (areas/biome placements are always the same, it's the layout, content and loot of those areas that change).

No probs, and best of luck! Spell lab has no spoilers whatsoever: It's just a puzzle game added on top of the Noita engine (it even has "achievements" for encouragement) to guide you through the wand stats and mechanics, as well as spells. Iirc it was a little tricky getting mods to start, like you had to click some little pixel thingie in the corner of the starting menu to have them boot up?
Good starters would be exploring, and learning how to survive (enemy movesets/behaviour, etc). The best way to kill stuff is to shoot/hurt enemies without placing yourself in the line of fire: Use projectile drop to "shoot around corners" for example. Also the game is a physics engine and almost all enemies as well as yourself will get rekt by getting hit by physical objects (like green tablets...). There are a small handful of objects materials that are safe to you though: The already mentioned green tablets, ice and rocks will never hurt you as long as you're "you"...

I'm convinced only poor people play Noita.

Like the kind of unmotivated retards who can get fired from jobs and think they are underachieving because it is better than acknowledging they are actively failing at life.

Broke ass retards.

I challenge a single Noita player to post a paystub proving me wrong.
